Long over due post

Only 2 months since my last post.  Sad.  Time and energy are harder to find these days.  I have gotten a year older in that time and our baby has turned into a toddler.  My birthday seemed to just come and go.  There was no count down this year.  Having a child has definitely changed my excitement about celebrating me (And Auntie Grapefruit of course).  It seems that we have a birthday tradition in the family.  One that I am a big fan of.  Uptown China in Queen Anne.  It never disappoints and they somehow always have the most amazing oranges for dessert.

But before this...came Halloween.  We ventured out to Issaquah for the 3rd year in a row.  The penguin made its annual appearance.  Nolan in true form was a monster.  The weather was uncomfortably warm.  It was perfect.  

Thanksgiving was delicious.  Nolan even helped cook the beans.

Nolan turned 15 months.  Has had an ear infection for well, 3 rounds of antibiotics now.  Poor guy.  He has 3 molars.  Got his first haircut.  Loves broccoli.  Still crawling.  Bites.  Barks like the dogs.  Will dump out anything in a box or a bag.  Shrieks with excitement to go outside.  Loves the Hawks.  His head is 99%, weighs 24.5 lbs, and is 30" tall (i think).  

Next came Christmas...but that's an entire blog post all its own
